About this product
Insurance when renting a Bednest
If you want to rent a Bednest without stress, our insurance is the best way to stay worry-free. It protects you against damage and covers repair costs caused by normal use. So, you don’t have to deal with unexpected costs during your rental period.
What does the insurance cover?
With our insurance, you are covered for:
-
Damage that happens during normal, everyday use
-
Repair costs for parts that wear out or break due to regular use
However, keep in mind: the insurance doesn’t cover missing parts.
What to do if there’s serious damage or something is missing
If your Bednest gets seriously damaged or parts go missing, contact us right away. You should also stop using the Bednest immediately, because we can’t guarantee its safety anymore.
When does the insurance not apply?
Your insurance doesn’t apply in certain cases. For example, if:
-
You don’t follow the user manual
-
Someone leans on the side panels
-
You fold the crib or stand incorrectly
-
You drop the Bednest
In these cases, you will need to pay for repairs or replacements. We will also charge shipping costs if we need to send parts or return the Bednest.
Replacement costs for missing parts
If something gets lost, these are the replacement costs:
-
Original transport box → €27.50
-
1 or 2 straps → €15 per pair
-
2 or 4 locks → €20 per set of four
-
If the Bednest is stolen during your rental → You must pay the full replacement value
Your insurance does not cover these situations.
How to avoid damage
The Bednest is a strong, sustainable crib – but only if you use it correctly. So, always follow the instructions and use the Bednest as intended. You must return the Bednest in good condition within your 7-month rental period.
Traveling with the Bednest?
Feel free to take the Bednest with you on a trip – as long as you stay in the same country. However, we don’t recommend flying with it. Air travel can cause damage, and this type of damage is not covered by the insurance. If it happens, we will charge you for any repairs.
